About the journal

common questions

What is The Full Stop?

The Full Stop is the journal of Brightside English. It publishes practical, evidence-led writing on how people speak, lead, sell, connect and are heard, at work and in life.

Where should I start reading?

Pick the path that fits you: find your voice if you understand English well but freeze when it counts; lead and persuade if your work travels through your words; life beyond work for family, friends, a toast or a new country; learn from the landmarks if you like stories and research.

Are the case studies about real people?

Not yet. Until learners give written consent, every case study is a composite built from common patterns in our coaching, with names and details changed, and it is labelled that way.

What are Landmark Moments, The Experiments and Thought Studies?

Three series. Landmark Moments tells pivotal real-world communication moments as stories, with sources and the lesson for an ordinary professional. The Experiments explains famous studies honestly, including whether they replicated. Thought Studies are our own essays, clearly labelled as opinion.

What is a field note?

A short piece of 250 to 400 words: one observation from coaching, one technique and one or two lines you can say tomorrow.

Does The Full Stop sell anything inside its pieces?

No. Pieces do not pitch or promise outcomes. A single line at the foot mentions that Brightside coaches people 1:1 and that a Trial Class is the way to start.

When you are ready

practise this on your own situations

Brightside English coaches working professionals 1:1. If you want to practise this on your own situations, you can start with a Trial Class: ₹49 for 30 minutes, ₹99 for 1 hour, GST included.
